I'm A Celebrity 2024: Rumoured Star 'Quits' Just Weeks Before Launch
Weeks to go until the new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! launches on ITV, and it's already been hit by a shock exit.
According to The Sun, Love Island's Olivia Attwood has quit the show just weeks before it's due to start.
A source told the newspaper that Olivia "had a change of heart" and decided that she no longer wanted to take part in the show.
The insider added that Olivia is "gutted" to have to pull out of the show, but she feels that it's the right decision for her.
Olivia's departure is a blow to the show's producers, who had been hoping that she would be a big draw for viewers.
The reality star is known for her outspoken personality and her fiery temper, which would have made her a great addition to the camp.
However, it's understood that Olivia has decided that she's not ready to put herself through the challenges of the jungle.
The source said: "Olivia is a strong and independent woman, but she knows that I'm A Celebrity is a tough show.
"She's not sure that she's ready to put herself through that kind of experience right now."
Olivia's departure is the latest in a series of setbacks for the show.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Matt Hancock had been offered a huge sum of money to appear on the show, but he later turned down the offer.
And just last week, it was reported that Seann Walsh had also pulled out of the show due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Despite these setbacks, ITV is still confident that the new series of I'm A Celebrity will be a success.
The show is set to launch on Sunday, November 13th, and will feature a host of new celebrities, including Boy George, Chris Moyles and Jill Scott.
