Gabriel Leone is confirmed to play Ayrton Senna in a Netflix series. The production, which will be produced by Gullane, is scheduled to begin filming in 2023.

The series will tell the story of Senna's life, from his humble beginnings in São Paulo to his tragic death at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.

Leone, who is known for his roles in films such as "Aquarius" and "Dom," said that he is "honored" to play Senna.

The series is being written by Cassiano Queiroz and directed by José Henrique Fonseca.
