Carlos Corberan reveals West Brom injury setback - but already has solutions in mind
Albion boss provides latest team news ahead of Blackpool clash
Carlos Corberan has revealed that West Bromwich Albion have suffered an injury setback ahead of their Championship clash with Blackpool on Wednesday night.
Corberan confirms injury blow
The Spaniard refused to name the player in question, but he did confirm that the individual will be absent for the visit of the Seasiders.
"We have one injury and we have to assess him to see if he's in condition to play tomorrow," Corberan said at his pre-match press conference.
Corberan has solutions
Despite the setback, Corberan is confident that he has enough options in his squad to cope with the loss of one player.
"We have a big squad and we have different solutions," he said.
"We are prepared for every situation and we trust in every player in our squad."
Albion looking to continue fine form
West Brom go into the game against Blackpool on the back of a 2-0 win over Bristol City at the weekend.
That result extended their unbeaten run to four games and moved them up to sixth in the Championship table.
Corberan is eager for his team to continue their good form and close the gap on the top two.
"We are in a good moment and we want to keep it going," he said.
"We know that Blackpool will be a tough opponent, but we are confident in our ability to get a positive result."
