The NYC Marathon 2023: Home Edition

5 Ways to Follow the 50,000 Runners on Sunday

1. The Official App

The official TCS NYC Marathon mobile app has live runner tracking, so you can put in a bib number and see where a specific runner is. You can also check interactive maps, see the start and finish lines, and follow along with the race in real time. The app also has pace calculators and nutrition tips, so you can get the most out of your own running, too.

2. Live Stream

If you want to watch the whole race from start to finish, you can stream it live on ESPN 2. The coverage starts at 8:30 a.m. EST on November 5, 2023. The race begins in Staten Island and ends in Central Park, and you'll get to see all the highlights along the way. Check the ESPN website for more details and alternate streaming options.

3. Social Media

The TCS NYC Marathon has a strong social media presence, so you can follow along on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. They'll be posting updates throughout the race, including photos and videos from the course. You can also use the hashtag #TCSNYCMarathon to follow along with other fans and runners.

4. Local News

If you live in the New York City area, you can watch the race on local news channels. ABC 7, FOX 5, and CBS 2 will all have live coverage of the race, so you can catch the highlights even if you can't make it to the course.

5. Live Tracking

If you know someone who's running in the marathon, you can track their progress live on the TCS NYC Marathon website. Just enter their bib number and you'll be able to see where they are on the course, their pace, and their estimated finish time. You can also add runners to your favorites list, so you can easily follow their progress throughout the race.
