Spurs boss Postecoglou discusses plans for Dragusin
Postecoglou pleased with Dragusin's progress
Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has discussed his plans for defender Cristian Dragusin, who joined the club on loan from Juventus in January.Postecoglou has been impressed with Dragusin's progress since his arrival and believes he has the potential to be a valuable asset to the team.
"Cristian is a young player with a lot of potential," Postecoglou said. "He's still adapting to the Premier League, but he's shown some really good qualities in training and in the games he's played.
"He's a good defender, he's strong in the air, and he's comfortable on the ball. I think he can be a really good player for us."
Dragusin keen to make an impact at Spurs
Dragusin is also keen to make an impact at Spurs and is determined to prove his worth to Postecoglou."I'm really happy to be here at Tottenham," Dragusin said. "It's a great club with a lot of history and tradition.
"I want to make the most of my time here and help the team achieve success.
"I'm still young and learning, but I'm confident that I can make a contribution to the team.
"I'm going to work hard in training and in games, and I'm determined to show the manager what I can do."
Postecoglou likely to give Dragusin more game time
Postecoglou is likely to give Dragusin more game time in the coming weeks and months, as he looks to assess his options in defense.Dragusin has made three appearances for Spurs so far, but he is yet to start a Premier League game.
However, with Spurs facing a busy schedule in the coming months, Postecoglou is likely to rotate his squad, which could give Dragusin the opportunity to impress.
If Dragusin can continue to impress in training and in the games he plays, he could force his way into the starting lineup on a regular basis.
