“Shame on you!” actress says of thief who took her bag
Parker was out with her son in the West Village when the incident occurred.
Sarah Jessica Parker was robbed on Halloween night in the West Village, New York City.
The actress was out with her 19-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, when a thief snatched her bag.
The bag contained her phone, wallet, and other personal belongings.
Parker took to Instagram to share her experience, writing, "My bag was stolen tonight on Perry Street by a guy on a bike.
"He rode off as I was putting my son in the car.
“Shame on you!”
The NYPD is investigating the incident.
No arrests have been made.
Parker is best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO series “Sex and the City.”
She has also starred in films such as “Hocus Pocus,” “The Family Stone,” and “Did You Hear About the Morgans?”.
Parker is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
She is also the founder of the SJP Collection, a line of shoes and accessories.
In 2019, Parker was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
