London Underground strike action in November 2024 - Advice for UCL staff and students
Strike action set to affect most London Underground lines for three days in November
The strike action will include all London Underground lines (except the Waterloo and City Line), and will begin at 00:01 on Tuesday 26 November 2024. It is expected to end at 23:59 on Thursday 28 November 2024.
What to do if you need to use the London Underground during this time
Check before you travel and consider alternative routes to work or study.
National Rail services will be unaffected by strike action in November and the Elizabeth line will only be affected by strike action of RMT members. Some bus services are expected to be busier than usual, so you may want to factor in extra time for your journey, or consider walking or cycling instead.
If you are travelling into central London, please consider using the London Overground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) or Thameslink. These services may be busier than usual, so please allow more time for your journey.
Further details about London Underground service changes during the strikes can be found on the Transport for London website.
