Live updates: Australia v Pakistan, 1st ODI at MCG
Australia kick off their summer of cricket
Australia face Pakistan in the first of a three-match ODI series at the MCG in Melbourne on Tuesday. It's the first match of an enormous summer of international cricket for the home side, with a three-Test series against the West Indies and four Tests against South Africa to follow. Pat Cummins will lead the team in what will be his first match in the 50-over format since last year's T20 World Cup.
Aussies unchanged, Pakistan make three changes
Australia have named an unchanged XI from the side that defeated England 3-0 in the recent one-day series. Travis Head will again open the batting, with David Warner and Steve Smith to follow. Marnus Labuschagne will bat at No.4, with Alex Carey, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood completing the side.
Pakistan have made three changes to the side that lost to England in a T20I on Sunday. Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will all return to the side, with Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah and Usman Qadir making way.
