James Martin admits presenting is 'really difficult'
TV chef James Martin has admitted that presenting is 'really difficult'.
The 50-year-old chef, who has hosted his own cooking show, Saturday Kitchen, since 2006, said that he finds it hard to talk and cook at the same time.
He said: "Presenting is really difficult. I find it really difficult to talk and cook at the same time. I'm not a natural presenter. I'm a cook."
Martin also said that he is not a fan of being in the spotlight. He said: "I'm not a celebrity chef. I'm a cook. I don't like being in the spotlight. I just like cooking."
Despite his reservations about presenting, Martin has become one of the most popular chefs on television. He has won numerous awards, including two BAFTAs, and his shows have been watched by millions of people around the world.
Martin's success is due in part to his passion for cooking. He said: "I love cooking. It's my passion. I love sharing my love of food with other people."
Martin's down-to-earth personality and his approachable style have also made him a popular figure with viewers. He said: "I'm just a normal guy who loves to cook. I'm not trying to be anything I'm not."
Martin's honesty and humility have made him a role model for many aspiring chefs. He said: "I want to inspire people to cook. I want to show them that cooking is not difficult. It's something that everyone can enjoy."
