Jackman to star in a major new production of "Oklahoma!"

Hugh Jackman is to headline a major new production of "Oklahoma!" at the Barbican Theatre in London in 2025.

The production will be part of a new musical theatre festival, which will run from June 1 to July 12, 2025.

Jackman will play the role of Curly McLain in the production, which will be directed by Daniel Fish.

Fish is known for his innovative work on Broadway, including his Tony Award-winning production of "Hamilton".

The production of "Oklahoma!" will be the first time that Jackman has performed in a musical theatre production in London since 2004.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale in 2024.
