David Gray Laments Inconsistency After Hibernian's Draw with Dundee United

Hibernian manager David Gray has lamented his side's inconsistency after they were held to a draw by Dundee United at Easter Road.

The Hibees took the lead through Kevin Nisbet in the first half, but United equalised after the break through Peter Pawlett. The result leaves Hibernian in eighth place in the Scottish Premiership, four points behind Dundee United in fifth.

Gray was frustrated with his team's performance, saying that they need to be more consistent if they want to challenge for a top-six finish.

"We need to be more consistent," Gray said. "We've shown in the last few weeks that we can beat anyone, but we've also shown that we can lose to anyone. We need to find a way to put together a run of results and climb the table.

Hibernian have won three of their last five games, but they have also lost two. Gray believes that his team need to find a way to win more of their games against the teams around them in the table.

"We need to start winning more of these games against the teams around us," Gray said. "We've dropped too many points against teams that we should be beating. We need to be more ruthless and take our chances.

Hibernian will have the chance to bounce back from their draw with Dundee United when they face Motherwell away on Saturday.
