Chloe Madeley and James Haskell expecting a baby girl
Richard Madeley gushes over ‘dream come true’ following Chloe Madeley and James Haskell’s baby gender reveal
Chloe Madeley and James Haskell are expecting a baby girl, her father Richard Madeley has revealed.
The Good Morning Britain presenter couldn’t hide his excitement as he announced the news on Tuesday’s show, describing it as a ‘dream come true’.
‘Yesterday, my beautiful Chloe and her husband James, who are expecting their first baby, they had a gender reveal,’ he said.
‘They didn’t want to know, they wanted to have the big surprise on the day, as did we. And they had their gender reveal party – I have to say, the food was absolutely fantastic – and I can now tell you baby Haskell is going to be a girl.
‘That means my wife Judy and I are going to have our second granddaughter. We have one granddaughter at the moment, who is three and a half, called Anaïs, who is Chloe’s sister’s daughter.
‘We are so excited. Team pink!’
Richard, 65, and his wife Judy Finnigan welcomed Chloe, 34, in 1987, and she is the eldest of their three children.
Chloe announced she was expecting her first child with husband James in February, sharing a series of sweet photos of herself cradling her bump.
‘Can’t wait to meet you little one…,’ she wrote.
Former rugby player James also shared the news on his social media, writing: ‘Incredibly excited to announce the future arrival of our first, very beautiful child.
‘We couldn’t be more excited. Ready for the next adventure.
‘Massive thank you to @northleedsfertility for making it happen. Special mentions to Dr Patel, nurses Pippa, Lindsay, Rebecca and all the wonderful ladies we’ve met and the lovely lovely people at @the_ivf_academy for their support throughout. See you soon, baby.’
The couple have been together since 2018 and married in 2021.
