Ayrton Senna Lives in Six-Part Series on Netflix—Here's the Trailer

An upcoming Netflix series will bring the life of Formula One legend Ayrton Senna to life.

The six-part series, simply titled "Senna," will follow the Brazilian driver's journey from his early days racing karts to his tragic death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. The series will feature interviews with Senna's family, friends, and rivals, as well as never-before-seen footage of the driver in action.

The trailer for the series was released on Tuesday, and it gives a glimpse of the incredible life and career of one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time.

The trailer opens with a young Senna racing karts on the streets of São Paulo. We then see him progress through the ranks of Formula One, winning his first race in 1985 and going on to become a three-time world champion.

The trailer also shows Senna's intense rivalry with Alain Prost, as well as his close friendship with fellow Brazilian driver Rubens Barrichello.

The series is set to premiere on Netflix on December 1, 2022.
