Premier League clubs eyeing Brazilian starlet

Premier League duo Arsenal and Southampton are reportedly interested in signing highly-rated Palmeiras midfielder Luighi.The 19-year-old is considered one of the most promising young talents in Brazil and has been capped at Under-20 level for his country.

Luighi has made 45 appearances for Palmeiras since making his debut in 2021, and has scored 3 goals. He has also impressed with his performances in the Copa Libertadores, South America's top club competition.

Gunners in need of midfield reinforcements

Arsenal are in need of midfield reinforcements following the departure of Thomas Partey to Atletico Madrid. Luighi could be the ideal player to fill the void left by the Ghanaian international, as he is a similar type of player.
