The Gunners have been linked with a move for the 19-year-old forward for several months
Palmeiras are reportedly demanding a fee of around £25m for the Brazilian youngster
Arsenal are continuing to scout Palmeiras striker Luighi as they weigh up a potential move for the 19-year-old forward.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Brazilian youngster for several months, and they are believed to have sent scouts to watch him in action on a number of occasions.
Palmeiras are reportedly demanding a fee of around £25m for Luighi, who has scored 10 goals in 25 appearances for the Brazilian club this season.
Luighi is a highly-rated prospect, and he is seen as one of the most promising young strikers in Brazil.
He has represented Brazil at U17 and U20 level, and he was part of the squad that won the U17 World Cup in 2019.
Luighi is a versatile forward who can play as a central striker or as a winger.
He is a good finisher, and he is also a good dribbler and passer.
If Arsenal were to sign Luighi, he would provide them with another option in attack.
The Gunners are currently relying on Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their main strikers, and Luighi could provide them with some much-needed competition.
However, Arsenal will have to pay a significant fee to sign Luighi, and it remains to be seen whether they are willing to do so.
